The Centre for Intellectual Property Rights under the Institute of Law in Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat calls for articles, research papers, case comments, and book reviews based on the themes of Intellectual Property Laws. The papers are being invited to publish in the second issue of 2016-2017 in the Journal of Intellectual Property Law on the topics and themes of Intellectual Property Rights for publication in the 2nd Issue of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. This publication is a peer reviewed journal with ISSN No 2455-0361. The papers are invited from academicians, legal fraternities, practitioners, research scholars and law students and other interested persons. The articles shall be limited to 5000-7000 words inclusive of the footnotes. The case comments shall not be more than 3500-4000 words. It should include detailed analysis of recent case laws, enactments, government policies, rules and other issues if any.
The authors can also write book reviews on any book that gives an important contribution to legal and academic study of nay recent issue. The authors have to provide detailed account of books highlighting the significance of the book instead of summary of the book. The book reviews shall be limited to 2500-3000 words. The citations and footnotes shall adhere to Harvard Blue Book (19th edition) style. Co-authorship is allowed to a maximum of two. The articles should be original and unpublished. The articles not in conformity with the standards of the committee will be subject to disqualification. The papers should be in MS word format and submitted along with an abstract of 300 words. The font should be Times new Roman, 12 size for all the entries. The footnotes should be in font size 10 and with 1.5 line spacing.
The papers should be sent along with a covering letter containing the title of the paper, name of the author, name of the institution, contact details, Email ID etc. It should also consist of an introduction not exceeding 200 words and a reference stating the identity of the author in the covering letter. The submissions should be send before 30th June, 2016. The articles should be send to centreipr@nirmauni.ac.in.
