Ideal Institute of Management and Technology and School of Law organizes Rakesh Aggarwal Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2015 on April 4-5, 2015

The Ideal Institute of Management and Technology and School of Law started functioning in 1999 as a branch of New Millennium Education Society. The fundamental aim of the society was to constitute professional, management as well as technical educational institutions as per the strategies of the Government. The institute at present provides for LL.B (Hons), BBA, BBA (CAM) and B Ed courses of Guru Govind Singh Indraprasta University, Delhi.

The Ideal Institute of Management and Technology and School of Law have decided to organize Rakesh Aggarwal Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2015 on April 4-5, 2015 in the name of Shri Rakesh Aggarwal at Ideal Institute of Management and Technology & School of Law, Delhi. The participants shall be students pursuing LL.B degree from recognized University. The rules state that only single team from a college or University will be allowed to participate. But if a college consists of three year and five year courses, they are permitted to allow one team from each course.

The team shall comprise of three students including two presenters and one researcher. If there is any change in the composition of members, it shall be informed to the organizers by the Head of the concerned institution by written intimation. Such alterations are not allowed more than once. But the teams cannot be changed after the competition has started. Where any member is unable to participate, the whole team shall be disqualified from the competition. However, the teams shall decide the presenters and researchers in each round according to their discretion.

The registration form shall be send to the email address or through post to the under mentioned address along with prescribed fee and memorials. The committee will send confirmation to the participants. The formal registration shall be done on April 4, 2015 at the venue at 8:30 am. The registration fee shall be Rs.900 for each team. In addition to the fee, the participants shall bring the filled in registration form and the scanned copies of memorials and other particulars as stated under Rule 6.1. The fee once paid will not be given back on non-participation. The brochure, registration form and moot court problem shall be downloaded from the website.
