TNB Law College, Bihar

TNB Law College which was established in 01-07-1959 is located in Bhagalpur and it is affiliated to Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University Bihar. Extended form of TNB is Tej Narain Banaili. TNB Law College renders quality education to the law students and it has been a foremost institution for teaching specialised legal education in the Eastern region of India. Main idea of this college is to improve the college to conduct higher legal research work. Principal of the college is Dr S K Pandey and Vice Principal is Dr Ramesh Chandra Rai. College provides a full time course in the campus. The course is conducted as per the rules and regulations of the university. Students from all parts of Bihar and other surrounding states come here to study law. The course available here is a full time course and it is a co-education college. The main objective of this college is to impart futuristic basis education in legal field and to educate students from all over the region. Upgrading the campus for a superior standard of legal education is priority of the college.

Academic sessions in the college begins from 1 July every year. College promotes multidisciplinary inquiry coupled with moot court competitions which will make studying in TNB Law College a unique experience to the students. Main aim of this college is to promote legal education and to provide opportunities for all round development of the students in the college who ultimately become a good citizen of the country. They have a well-furnished college infrastructure with all modern amenities and also laboratory facility in the college. They have a quite big classrooms in the college with modern methods of teaching and a well-stocked library too.

This college offers 3 years and 5 years LL.B course and it follows the semester system that is available to the students in the college and it is a day college. A student or a candidate to be eligible for this college he/she must have passed bachelor degree with 45% marks in aggregate for a 3 year LL.B course. Marks sheet of the last qualifying examination must be attested along with a passport size photo. The students should show the proof of passed exams. College has a well learned teaching staff and they are employed to impart the legal knowledge to the students at this college in various departments. Encourage the students with English communication skills and to empower them to improve writing skills is also part of the teachers duty.
