Dehradun: Yesterday, i.e. on Friday, 25th March, the honourable High Court of Uttarakhand has dismissed the petition, which was filed by the Members of Legislative Assembly of Rebel Congress. In the Petition, the Rebel Congress Party’s Legislators had challenged the Notice which was issued against them by Govind Singh Kunjwal- the Speaker of Assembly.
The petition in which the concerned High Court has given his decision was preferred by the 9 members of the Rebel Congress Party in the State, Friday, in the early time of the Court. However, even though the Court which was closed, was decided to be opened for hearing the concerned petition. Justice- U. C. Dhyani’s Court then later decided to reject the petition.
It was seen earlier that the Assembly Speaker- Kunjwal had issued a notice against such 9 members of Rebel Congress Party, on Sunday, and such nine members were also including Vijay Bahuguna- the Former Chief Minster and Harak Singh Rawat- the Former Cabinet Minister. In the notice, the Speaker- Kunjwal sought to question the move which was adopted by these members for joining the Bhartiya Janata Party- BJP legislators on 18th day of March, i.e. on Last Friday.
It was also seen that the BJP had also brought the conflict of Uttarakhand to the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday, where they were found demanding dismissal of Government, before the President- Pranab Mukherjee. However, Congress appeared accusing the ruling “dispensation” at the Union of trying to destabilise the grand old party.
Moreover, it is also notably that the notices which were issued against such nine members were basically issued under the provisions of the Anti- defection law. It was also seen the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand found blaming the NDA Government that there was a try for destabilising his led Government. However, the allegations which BJP preferred against it, were rejected, where allegations of corruption were preferred against his state. However, as per the Congress party president- Kishor Upadhyay who told to media, that the matter is one of technical, however, Congress “wants them out”.
