Subramanian Swamy moves Supreme Court to build Ram temple in Ayodhya

New Delhi: Seeking construction of Lord Ram Temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya, BJP Leader- Subramanian Swamy filed petition in the Supreme Court of India, on today, i.e. on Monday 22nd, February.

Subramanian Swamy, said that, as it can be seen in the practices which are prevalent in the Islamic Countries a Mosque could be shifted for the public purpose to any other place, like for road construction purposes, etc., however, he said the temple once constructed could not be even touched. As such as per his comments, idea for shifting the temple will never be acceptable. The said contentions were preferred by BJP leader- Swamy while mentioning his petition before the honourable Supreme Court of India.

The said petition is put before the Apex court’s bench which is headed by Chief Justice of India- T. S. Thakur. Moreover, in his comments, said BJP leader further claim for the shifting of the disputed mosque located in Ayodhya, which is to be shifted to some place across river Saryu. Moreover, he claimed for construction of the Lord Ram Temple at the concerned disputed site, after removing mosque from there.

The court said that the matter would be listed before the bench already hearing other matters relating to Ram temple-Babri Masjid dispute.
