The Suraj Sansthan, Jaipur has decided to conduct 10th National Seminar on ‘Human Rights and Disadvantaged Groups’ sponsored by ICSSR, New Delhi. The seminar is being conducted understanding the conditions faced by many of the people in the developing countries due to poverty. These people are deprived of the basic necessities of life like health, education, shelter, food etc. The Governments are also not taking adequate steps to assure and implement human rights. The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and International Covenant on Economics, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), 1966 have also promised adequate means of livelihood for all. The fundamental aim of the seminar is to give awareness to the disadvantaged groups regarding the basic human rights available to them and to take adequate steps to prevent breach of such rights. It also aims to protect the interest of the vulnerable groups through different agencies particularly United Nations and its subsidiary organs. The abstracts shall be submitted before March 1, 2016 and the acceptance of paper will be intimated to the participants by March 2, 2016. The participants shall submit full papers by March 6, 2016. The registration fee for delegates, scholars and students shall be Rs, 700, 500 and 300 respectively till March 1, 2016. But till March 6, the fee will be Rs 1000 for delegates, Rs 750 for Scholars and Rs 400 for students. The registration fee shall be inclusive of the seminar kit, lunch and tea. Accommodation charges are not included in the registration fee. The delegates have to take travel allowances from their parent institution. Accommodation will be arranged to the participants on separate payment. Co-authors have to register separately. The seminar will be conducted at Seminar Hall, Vedik Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Raja-Park, Jaipur. The registration fee is to be paid in the mode of DD in favor of Suraj Sansthan, Jaipur. The full paper shall not exceed 3000 words.
