The Ideal Institute of Management and Technology and School of Law under the Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi has decided to conduct Rakesh Aggarwal Memorial National Moot Court Competition on April 2-3, 2016. This competition is being organized with an object to spread awareness to the students pursuing law and showcase their skills of advocacy on the present legal issues. It will also enhance the research and writing skills of the participant. The competition will be conducted at Ideal Institute of Management and Technology and School of Law, Karkardooma, New- Delhi. There will be four rounds for the competition and the students from three year and five year LLB course are eligible to participate. The team shall consist of three participants including two presenters and one researcher. The participants should register with the School of Law by sending the registration form and fee of Rs 1000. The memorials are to be send to idealmootcourt1@gmail.com. The hard copy of both registration form and demand draft should be send by post to:

Those who can hand over the registration form are permitted to do so. The registration form shall reach the school of law on or before March 18, 2016. The moot court committee will send the acknowledgment to the participants by March 21, 2016. The formal registration will be on April 2, 2016 at 08:30 am in the campus. The guidelines regarding the memorials and other rules are provided in the brochure released by the university available at the university website. The winning team will receive the trophy and cash prize Rs 5100 and the runners up will be awarded with Rs 3100. There are cash prizes for best mooter, best memorial and best researcher. Those who secure the second position will also be awarded with certificates and mementos. In addition there will also be a researcher test on April 3, 2016 to find out the best researcher.
