Call for Papers: RMLNLU’s Law Journal on Communications, Media, Entertainment & Technology (CMET) Volume III – Last date of Submission 15th June, 2016

The Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University is the institution situated in Lucknow. There institute offers graduate and post graduate degrees in law in addition to other law courses. The students who excel in All India Law Entrance Test are given admission to the institute. The institute also consist of moot court committee, debate committee, journal committee, cyber and IPR committee etc to carry other extra curricular activities. The Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University Law Journal on Communications, Media, Entertainment & Technology is a peer reviewed law journal published annually and edited by a group of students.

The journal is published by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University through its Journal Committee. The committee calls for papers to be published in its inaugural edition. The journal will be published by Eastern Book Company. The journals will also be uploaded on SCC Online in the online legal database. The papers are to be submitted as articles, book reviews and case comments. Academicians, legal professionals, research scholars and law students can submit papers to be published in the journal. The articles shall be related to any contemporary legal issue in connection with communication, technology, entertainment and media law. Following are the word limit for the submissions:

  1. Articles (5000-8000 words)
  2. Case Comments (3000-6000 words)
  3. Book Reviews (2000-4000 words)

The word limit provided above shall be excluding the abstract and footnotes. The guidelines are to be followed strictly. The submissions shall be accompanied with a covering letter consisting of author’s name, degree, designation, name of the institution, address for communication, contact number and email ID. The citations shall be in 4th edition of OSCOLA method. The Supreme Court Cases citation format shall be followed when citing the Indian cases. Co-authorship is permitted to a maximum of two. The abstract shall be limited to 250-300 words added with the name of the author and name of the college as footnote. The submissions shall be send to cmet.rmlnlu@gmail.com. The articles, case comments and book reviews shall be original and not published anywhere. The entries that are copied or published earlier shall be summarily rejected.
