High Court Justice- Naresh Kumar Sanghi dies of cardiac attack during Tirupati Temple’s visit: Today all courts closed in mark of respect

Chandigarh: Yesterday, i.e. on Monday 7th March, the Justice- Naresh Sanghi, who was the sitting judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court died following a heart attack, and as a mark of respect to Justice- Sanghi, all the courts in the Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh will be remain closed on Today, i.e. on 8th March. It was said that Justice- Naresh Kumar Sanghi  was on the way to the Tirupati temple along with his family members, and as such he suffered a cardiac attack.

The late Justice- Sanghi was born on 5th day of July, 1955, in the family of lawyers at Narnaul in Haryana. Later, after completing his graduation from the local government college, the late Justice- Sanghi was elected as the general secretary of the Student’s union and while his study in law, from the University College of Law, Nagpur, he was elected as president of the Student’s Union.

In his legal professional tenure, he was sworn in as an additional judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on 30th day of September, 2011 and in the year 2017 (June) he was to be retired from him office. Moreover, in his career he also became deputy advocate general, Haryana in 1996 and thereafter additional advocate general, Punjab, in the year 2007. Also, earlier to this, he was, in the year 1980 enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh and started practicing at narnaul under the guidance of his father Hanuman Prashad Sanghi. Later, in the year 1987, he was unanimously elected as a president of the Narnaul Municipal committee. He was also honoured with the ‘Samman Patra’ from the income tax department.

As stated by his family, the late Justice- Sanghi accompanied by his wife, son and daughter- in- law had reached Tirupati on Sunday for paying obeisance at the Lord Venkateswara Temple. However, in the Monday noon time, he suffered a massive heart attack. Consequently, the humble natured, and justice favoured Judge has died.
