The Sharda University has decided to conduct the 1st Anand Swaroop Gupta Memorial National Moot Court Competition on April 7 to 9, 2016. There will be three rounds for the competition- preliminary, semi final and final rounds. The participants shall be students pursuing three year and five year degree courses from any recognized university. A team shall consist of three members including two speakers and one researcher. The team composition cannot be changed after the commencement of the competition. With the previous permission of the judging panel, the researcher may be permitted to argue.
The registration fee shall either be remitted to the bank in the address mentioned below or can pay the registration fee in the form of DD. After depositing the amount in the bank the team shall send a confirmation mail regarding their participation along with the registration form and soft copy of the bank transaction receipt. The last date for sending the details is March 10, 2016.

By March 12, 2016, the participants will receive a team code and confirmation of their registration. For any future correspondence,
the teams shall refer through the team code. The soft copy of the memorials shall reach the organizers by March 25, 2016. The teams shall also send six hard copies of the memorials before April 2, 2016 to:

At the top of the envelope containing the written submissions shall indicate “Anand Swaroop Gupta Memorial National Moot Court Competition 2016”. The moot court problem can be downloaded from www.sharda.ac.in. After understanding the problem, the teams can frame their own issues. The organizers have also announced prizes worth Rs one lakh and a free trip to Taj Mahal as part of the competition.
