The Clue for Evidence which is a forensic investigation team is conducting a One Day State Level Workshop on Signature and Forgeries- Art of Cross Examination on March 29, 2016 Sunday from 9am to 5pm at Gandhi Bhavan, Kumara Park East, Seshadripuram, Bangalore. The fundamental aim of the workshop is to develop the skills to identify the signatures endorsed fraudulently so as to equip the participants to identify the documents that are fraudulently made. The registration fee shall be Rs 1950 if registered before March 23, 2016. The registration fee will be enhanced to Rs 2450 if the registration is after March 23 and on the spot registration. The number of participants is limited to 40 on first come first serve basis. The training module shall be the following:
- Facts of Handwriting
- Graphical Maturity of Handwriting and signature
- Principles to Handwriting and Signature Verification
- Forgeries and different types of forgeries
- Characteristics of each type of forgery
- Examination of Forgery
- Case Studies
- Schedule
The participants have to report at the venue by 9.30 am. The sessions will start at 10 am and the discussion on cases will start at 2.00 pm. The coordinators expect legal professionals, persons form HR department, investigation departments, law students and forensic science students as participants. There will be evaluation in the form of two examinations at corporate level. The participants will be provided with training materials, stationeries for training purpose, certificates as well as membership for 2 months at Vyuha, a Techno-legal forum which is a group where discussions are conducted on science and law.
After registration, the fee will not be refunded on cancellation. If the registration is cancelled, additional charges will be imposed for re-registration. Late comers will not be allowed to participate in the workshop and their registration fee will not be refunded. The session will be chaired by Mr Phaneendar, Forensic document and finger print expert-Court Commissioned. He has chaired many seminars conducted by different institutions and law departments. He is a regular speaker at various Bar Associations for providing legal awareness and training. He is also a consultant for different councils, cross examination and evidence presentation of forensic experts. The training will be very useful for lawyers and those interested in forensic science.
