Nalbari Law College was established in 1991 and is affiliated to Gauhati University, Assam which is also approved by Bar Council of India Government of India, New Delhi. Many students from almost all parts of North Eastern India come here to study law and to get an enriching legal learning experience in the said campus. College aims at providing futuristic basis education in legal field and their mission is to educate students from all over the region, including the local and rural areas. Nalbari Law College provides individual attention and quality education.
Nalbari Law College offers 3 years LL.B course and it follows the semester system that is available to the students in the college. All modern facility is available to the students in the college. A student or a candidate to be eligible for this college he/she must have passed bachelor degree with 45% marks in aggregate and below 30 years of age which is for a 3 year LL.B course. Course that the college provide is a full time course and it is as per the rules and regulations of the University. It was established for the greater interest of the people of north eastern region of Assam. From 1 July every year academic sessions in the college begins.
Any student seeking admission must be done in a prescribed manner. Admission in this college is strictly on the basis of merit and subject to the approval of the principal. Marks sheet of the last qualifying examination must be attested along with a passport size photo.
If a student is selected, he/she should produce original documents like previous exams passed marks report at the time of interview for admission in the college. They have a well-furnished infrastructure with modern amenities. They also have lab facility in their campus. College has a well learned teaching staff and they are employed to impart the legal knowledge to the students at this college in various departments. They also have moot court hall, spacious class rooms, well experienced teacher who are very efficient enough to handle the students.
