The Literary and Debating Committee under the National Law University, Odisha has decided to conduct its First Edition of British Parliamentary Debate on 16th to 18th April, 2016. The last date of registration is April 2, 2016. Any person can participate in the debate and the committee also allows institutional cross teams. There is no team cap for the debate competition. There will be interesting sessions and adjudication by qualified experts. The participants can compete in the debate as institutional teams, adjudicators, cross teams and independent adjudicators. Exciting prizes are offered by the organizers for the winners in addition to other prizes. The committee has decided to provide good accommodation to the participants. The organizers have also decided to give prizes worth Rs 1,60,000 and the winning team will get a cash prize of Rs 50,000. Cash prizes will also be awarded to the teams who enter into the semi finals. Another slot of cash prize is allocated for best and 2nd best adjudicators and also for best and 2nd best speakers. Registration fee for the competition is Rs 1800 inclusive of accommodation charges. The persons who are interested to participate in the competition should also upload their CV. The participants can also follow the organizers through face book. The competition will be very interesting and based on a relevant theme.
