The KIIT Student Law Review is released by the School of Law, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It is a flagship review with ISSN No: 2348-4381 which is peer reviewed during the process of selection. The committee calls for paper for its volume 4 for its annual edition. Papers are invited from students, professionals, academicians, policy makers and others to be submitted on the theme ‘Contemporary Legal Issues’. The major aim of the review is to impart better understanding of the core legal aspects and also to give national and international platform for debate and discussions on the comparative and analytical issues. The submission shall be based on constitutional law, intellectual property rights, international law, taxation law, business law, criminal law etc.
The submissions shall be in the form of articles, short articles, book reviews, case comments and legislative briefs. The articles shall be limited to 5000-7000 words and should be related to any contemporary legal issue with critical study. The short articles should be descriptive in nature and should not be more than 3000-5000 words. The book reviews shall not exceed 1200-1500 words with critical examination and the case comments shall be limited to 2500-4000 words with critical study of landmark verdicts added with recent laws. The maximum limit of the legislative briefs shall be 2500 words and contain implication of the proposed bills. The word limit for all submissions shall be excluding footnotes. The articles should contain an abstract not exceeding 300 words. The submissions should be send to submission.kslr@kls.ac.in with the subject KSLR Volume 4 Submission along with the title of the paper. The last date of submission is 30th September, 2016.
The footnotes shall follow Harvard Blue Book Citation 19th edition. The covering letter attached separately with the submission shall include the name of the author, address, contact number, title of the paper, submission category, name of the institution, years of study and email address. The selected papers will be published nearly February 2017.
