The Department of Law, North Eastern Hill University, Shillong calls for papers to be published in the NEHU Law journal annual volume published every year. The interested persons should submit the papers as research paper in law in any area of socio-legal importance. The primary aim of the research journal is to provide quality research materials on contemporary legal issue. The articles should be conceptual and original work. It should not be published anywhere. The papers are invited with an objective to enhance the academic standard and intellectual content of the journal. It also gives opportunity to the writers to develop their research capabilities. The authors have to strictly adhere to the rules stated by the editorial committee. The last date for submission is 30th June, 2016. The words of the full paper shall be limited to 5000-8000 words along with the abstract and references. The abstract should be between 250 – 300 words consisting of the objectives of the paper, research design, main findings, implications of the articles etc. There should be 3-5 keywords along with the abstract. The abstract should be written at the top part of the article and separate attachment is not necessary. The separate front sheet along with the article should contain the name of the author, name of the institution, affiliation or position, address for correspondence, Email address, sub areas and the type of submission. The margins should be 25.4mm (1”) top, 25.4mm (1”) left, 25.4mm (1”) bottom, 25.4mm (1”) right. The papers should be submitted in Times New Roman format, font size 12 with page numbers at the lower middle in all the pages and 1.15 line spacing.
The title of the paper should be limited to 10-14 words. There should be an abstract and introduction. The author should also include literature review, objectives, Research Questions or Hypothesis, Research Methodology, discussions, conclusion and suggestion, references etc. The submissions shall include American Psychological Association (APA) format as referencing style.
