The A.V.R Amrutha College of Law is located in Visakhapatnam in the State of Andhra Pradesh. It is a self financing law college affiliated to Andhra University which is also placed in Visakhapatnam. It is one of the oldest universities in Andhra Pradesh established in the year 1926. The mission of the university is to provide education with international standard by group effort of faculty and students. The university had always preserved the academic traditions and human ethics in India since its establishment.
The A.V.R Amrutha College is approved by AICTE and recognized by the Bar Council of India. The college was constituted under the Andhra University in the year 2003 and has developed as a high-flying college in Andhra Pradesh. The fundamental aim of the college is to impart quality education through the efforts of a set of academicians and scholars through an inspiring and inventive process. This will accelerate knowledge and develop practical skills by preserving the superiority of legal profession.

The A.V.R Amrutha college of Law consists of good computer lab and conducts co-curricular activities enabling the students to expose their talent. The college organizes seminars and conferences and for this purpose they have constructed a conference hall in the premises. The library with large number of books can be used for reference by students and faculties.
The courses offered by the college are Bachelor of Law (3year and 5 year) and Bachelor of Law (Hons).
