The National Law University Odisha, Cuttack invites papers to be published in he Human Rights Law Journal which is their first issue. The authors can send articles, legislative comments, case notes and book review. The articles shall be a complete analysis of the topic which is being submitted. It should give deep understanding of the important legal issues. For this the author can conduct any mode of research, either doctrinal or empirical. The authors can also include comparative study of the similar or contrasting issues related with law. There shall be critical analysis of the case laws which may be of recent or landmark cases. The comment should also contain the outcomes of the judgment for the future advancement of legal theories.
The legislative comment shall be a critical analysis of the enactments, amendments made to an act, rules etc. The legislative comments should state the importance of such legislation or amendment with emphasis on the changes brought out by such legislation in the society. The book reviews shall be related with books written by eminent persons or academicians. The authors shall also state the merits and demerits of the book for the progression of law. It should also contain the current legal significance of the book including its impact on the present legal system.
The Articles shall not be more than 6000 words excluding footnotes and the Case Comments and Legislative Comments shall limit to 3500 words excluding footnotes. The book reviews shall not exceed 2500 words excluding footnotes. All submissions shall be accompanied with an abstract of 300 words. Joint authorship shall be permitted and it shall be limited to two authors only. The submission shall be send to hrlj@nluo.ac.in before 20.03.3016. The papers shall contain the name of the author, title of the paper etc. The major themes for submission include:

- Right of Asylum and Human Rights
- Human Rights Institutions in India
- International Mechanism for Enforcement of Human Rights
- Human Rights and Multinational Corporations
- Human Rights of Prisoners
