The DNR College of law was constituted by the DNR College Association in 1989. The college is situated at Bhimavaram which is in West Godavari District. It is one among the prestigious colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The fundamental motive of the college is to outfit the requirements of legal education to the needed class. With the leadership of eminent personalities, the college made rapid growth in legal education and activities. The management of the college had taken immense effort to bring the institution to new heights. The place where the college is situated is famous for many educational establishments. The college can be reached by Vijayawada-Gudiwada-Bhimavaram Railway or through bus by Vijayawada-Tadepalligudem road.

The college offers Bachelor of Laws or LLB (3 year and 5 year) course. In 2004, the college started Centre of Acharya Nagarjuna University that conducts LLM course in distance mode. The students can get specialized in Law of Crimes and Tort, Labour Laws, Constitutional Law and Administrative Law and Corporate and Security Laws. To get admission for LLB Course, the candidates will have to clear LAWCET conducted by State of Andhra Pradesh and minimum 45 percent marks in degree examination for 3 year course and 45 percent marks in Intermediate or Plus two exam for 5 year course. Five percent relaxation in marks is provided for reserved category. The Social Welfare Department provides scholarships for reserved class as per their norms.

The college is spread across an extensive area near to DNR College. The college consists of conference hall, moot court hall and free legal aid clinic. Another advantage is the excellent faculty providing quality legal education to students. The teachers are also engaged in research as well. The library contains number of books like journals, reference books, periodicals etc. The Legal literacy Club contains almost 30 students who act as volunteers. Identity Cards are provided to them by District Legal Service Authority. The legal aid clinics give the students opportunity to interact with the poor sections and suggest laws on the issues placed before them. Other co-curricular activities are also conducted in the college in addition to academics.
