One of the first Three Law Schools to have been established under the National Law school system, is National Law Institute University based at Bhopal. This University is a well known and highly popular ‘Law School’ and ‘Centre for research’ in India. It was established by the State of Madhya Pradesh through its enacted, the National Law Institute University Act, 1997 (Act no. 41 of 1997) which is also called as ‘Rashtriya Vidhi Sansthan Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam’ in Hindi. As such, this university has launched its first programme in the year 1998. Moreover, this University is offering the Masters in Law- LL.M programme from the year 2007. Moreover, there are amazing associations set in this University where, a Student Bodies, Academic Cells and other Associations can be seen. Also there is an Alternative Dispute Resolution Cell- ADRC and also a Cell for Awareness and Research in Environmental Studies- CARES. Moreover, with all such and other important associations and programmes this University has attained much popularity. Moreover, since from its establishment, the present concerned University has consistently been rated among the three Best Law Schools in India. Moreover, the University is admitting the students for LL.B and LL.M courses through the Common Law Admission Test- CLAT. Also it is offering the undergraduate course in law as Honours.
