New Delhi: Non- bailable warrants against the Businessman- Vijay Mallya and his Financial Officer for Kingfisher Airlines- A Raghunath is issued by the Hyderabad Court. Also, the warrants were issued on 10th March, and it was ordered to police to produce both of them before the court on 13th day of April, this year, by the 14th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate- G. S. Ramesh Kumar.
Vijaya Malya who is also called liquor baron is currently in the United Kingdom and is being sought out in India over the charges of money laundering. He also meanwhile found asserted that the all efforts by the media trying who were to hunt him down were useless as he was not going to speak to them in any case.
He found tweeted that the he being hunted by the media in United Kingdom. Moreover, he also posted in his words that ‘sadly they (media) did not look in the obvious place. I will not speak to media so don’t waste your efforts’.
Moreover, notably, recently the former employees of the now defunct- Kingfisher Airlines of Mallya, wrote a letter to the Prime Minister- Narendra Modi and asked for his intervention in safeguarding their interest. Also, these employees are now set file a case in the Supreme Court for getting their dues from the company.
Also, notably, the senior advocate- M. V. Kini is appearing in favour of the employees’ interest and as he stated earlier, he will fight their case pro bono (for free), considering their weak financial condition.
It was Government, which told earlier to the Supreme Court that the Businessman- Mallya had left India on 2nd day of March following which the Court had issued notice to him and sought his response within two weeks on the pleas filed by the consortium of banks.
On Friday, in the series of Tweets from Mallya, he found stating that he was not an absconder and was not fleeing from India, and also he shown to have belief in the law of the land. He shown to have travelled to abroad as his being for business purposes for which he frequently travels. Also, he said he is an Indian Member of Parliament- MPs and fully respecting and will be complying with the law of the land.
